For those of you out on Sunday morning, you might have noticed a funky plane circling the site. Shirley Chevalier of Fli Rite Aviation took some very cool photos of riders and the whole scene. The photos are available to purchase and will look great blown-up. She will send you either an 8 x 10 print or a CD with the image for $50. There are lots more from her photo shoot on www.flirite.com. If you are interested, contact Shirley directly at 802-878-4432 or [email protected]. Some of my favorites are below.
We would like to say a BIG thank you to the following Kitestorm Partners:

Peter Lynn Kites'hooked us up with a Scorpion kite to give to Paul Morse the Speed contest winner, a lot of great give-aways and Blake Pelton working hard setting people up with the new Scorpion kite and the ever smooth and stable Venom.

Ozone: Frenzies, the Access and Instincts were flying all weekend thanks to Brian, Zeb and Mike from Ozone. They have been part of the Kitestorm since year one and this year featured the US debut of the new Instinct line which was very well received and as high performing kite with the attention to detail we know and expect from Ozone. They also hooked lots of riders up with t's, caps and beanies.

HQ Kites: Nearly 100 new kiters had their first ride on the Beamer TSR 3.6m kite and Tim helped riders to fly the Apex and Montana 2 depower foils. HQ also kicked in some excellent goodies including a trainer kite that will be part of the photo contest prizes.

Best Kiteboarding: Jake Buzianis, in addition to giving us a great show on Saturday afternoon, worked hard all weekend getting the Waroo, Bularoo and Waroo Pro into the hands of eager riders.

We are very pleased to extend a 10% discount off retail on any of the products from the above 4 kite companies to Kitestorm participants. With your purchase you get a free set-up and tricks and tips lesson (or phone supprt) .

Dakinehas always hooked us up with a huge box of their incredible gear and this year was no exception, we had packs, gloves, beanies, wallets, hoodies and more to give away. There were some stylin' snowkiters walking around after the party Saturday night. Dakine makes an excellent product, whether technical gear - harnesses, packs and the warmest gloves and mittens I have ever worn, or soft goods - beanies, t's and hoodies. Their gear has our full support and endorsement.

Himaya Sun Protectionwas an extremely relevant partner this weekend. They make the most reliable sunscreen I have used and now a great lip portection product as well. There were packets for all snowkiters and bottles out to lucky winners throughout the weekend. We recommend that all outdoor sports people have a bottle of this in your pack or somewhere in your car.
Rhino Foods,I have a weakness for chocolate chip cookies. What can I say these are the best.

Best Western Windjammer Inn: They are clean, comfortable have been with us since the start and this year for the after party too.

John Mitsock's photo of open space, blue sky and only a few of the kites out this past weekend.
Delaware's Brian Schaeffer caught the sunset and Jake B's ripping twilight session Saturday.
